Building on the success of our Mentor WIP MYISPE 2023/2024 Program and in response to requests from our local community, Women In Pharma I ISPE Malaysia Affiliate is proud to launch the second cycle of our Mentorship Program, continuing our mission to Shape the Future of Pharma. Mentor WIP MYISPE 2.0 officially kicked off on 5th August 2024, where we provided an overview of the program’s structure and mechanisms, and introduced our esteemed mentors to the members who joined us for the celebration.

A year ago, we envisioned a groundbreaking mentorship program designed specifically for our local community to Shape the Future of Pharma. We crafted a unique program with a distinct Malaysian touch, exclusively for our Women In Pharma I ISPE Malaysia Affiliate members. Today, after a 9-month journey, we are incredibly proud to celebrate our first cohort of graduates, who have emerged stronger and more resilient after engaging in a series of insightful exchanges and accelerated learning experiences under the guidance of our esteemed leaders in the pharmaceutical field.

During our recent graduation ceremony on Monday 5 August 2024, our graduates expressed their gratitude with a heartfelt video tribute to our mentors, followed by a touching sharing session. The day was filled with laughter, tears, inspiration, and aspiration — we listened, we learned, and we grew together, both personally and professionally.
As they walked down the graduation aisle in their special edition robes, exclusive to Cohort 1, these memories will undoubtedly be cherished as one of the most meaningful learning experiences of their lives. We are immensely proud of each of you for taking that bold step a year ago, and we are excited to see you continue to thrive in the years ahead. Mentor Circle Get-Together

That was exactly how we spent our beautiful Saturday! Gathering mentors and mentees from Northern, Central and Southern Peninsular, it was all fun and laughter, a sprinkle of emotional and touching moments too. Thank you everyone who managed to make time for this get-together. Been 7 months since our on-boarding last September, how time flies. A heart-to-heart sharing of experiences and perspectives to learn and re-learn, expand our horizon while some were even thought-provoking. It is always fulfilling to have great conversations with great people.
Some key takeaways – Communication takes both ways, so learn to speak the other persons language. We cannot control how others react or respond to us but we are certainly in control of how we respond to any situation – Don’t take it personally. And remember, do not ever burn bridges!”
